Our railway Concession Metro de Sevilla is again the protagonist at the Global Light Rail Awards! After the success achieved last year, our Concession stands out one more time in these awards that each year recognize excellence and innovation in the global railway and urban sector.
Thus, in this new edition, Metro de Sevilla has achieved two recognitions in the “Innovation of the year” categories with a special “Highly Commended” mention for its Intelligent Postpayment System and our colleague, Carolina Moreno, Communication and Customer Service Technician of Metro de Sevilla, has been the winner in the “Employee of the Year” category, thanks to the great work carried out in the Communication Department.
A few months ago, our concession presented its candidacy to four categories, being a finalist in three of them:
- “Technical Innovation of the year” with its Intelligent Postpayment System, Tap&Go.
- “Best Customer Initiative” for its real-time information system on the environmental conditions inside the trains.
- ”Employee of the year,” with the candidacy of Carolina Moreno for the great communication campaigns launched this year, which have helped to recover demand after the pandemic. Among them is Telmo’s campaign, the virtual assistant of Metro de Sevilla, “To your place” to promote parking garages with electric recharging, “Transform your way of traveling” by Tap&Go, and the fun campaign by Pepe Pinreles on the occasion of the Fair of Sevilla.
On October 6, the Seville Metro team received both awards with great enthusiasm and pride for this new milestone.
The jury has highlighted the work carried out by Metro de Sevilla for being pioneers in offering an intelligent postpaid system in Spain that has made life easier for passengers. On the other hand, he highlighted our colleague Carolina’s great work in taking the client’s commitment to a new level.
