On September 27, our Bluenest powered by Globalvia vertiports received the 2022 City Award for the Best Mobility Proposal awarded by Open House Madrid.
This recognition has been given to its innovative and flexible design, which has been developed by luis vidal + architects, the studio chosen by the Bluenest powered by Globalvia team, for the design of the best vertiports of the future.
This milestone is an incentive for us to continue developing our strategy, focused on managing advanced air mobility and infrastructure for eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing vehicles). In addition, it shows our ability to do so accompanied by partners such as luis vidal + architects, who have a proven track record in the mobility sector, with more than 50 awards granted to various projects, including Terminal 2 at London’s HeathrowInternational Airport.
This award was collected by Andoni Arrizabalaga, Director of Talent and Innovation at luis vidal + archiquectos, and by Fernando Vallejo, Director of Innovation and Systems at Globalvia and Managing Director of Openvia, during the awards dinner that took place last Tuesday September 27th.
In Fernando’s words: “For Bluenest, this recognition is another incentive in our strategy to create and manage the best vertiports of the future. We fully trust the luis vidal + architects team and are grateful for their excellent work, which materializes in exclusive designs that combine safety and comfort for our users.
