Last 18th May took place the ceremony where Globalvia officially received the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Certificates for its Management System by AENOR.
The act was held at AENOR Headquarters (Spanish Association of Standardization and Certification) and it was led by Javier Pérez Fortea, Globalvia CEO and Avelino Brito, AENOR General Manager, who were accompanied by representatives of their companies.
The certification represented a milestone for Globalvia endorsing its commitment to accomplish recognized international standards in terms of Quality Management (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001) and Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001).
Globalvia is aware of the importance of implementing its Management System in all business areas and for this reason the company has extended the certification to all Group concessions.
Globalvia certification’s coverage comprises the following business lines and activities:
A) The management (acquisition, design, construction, operation and maintenance, control and monitoring) of infrastructure concessions (highways, railways and ports).
B) The conservation, operation and maintenance of highways and railways.
C) The operation and manipulation of general goods and containers at port.
The magnitude of this certification’s coverage implies a differentiated competitive factor for Globalvia ranking the company as a leader in the infrastructure sector.
