Globalvia and adEla Association sign their collaboration agreement for two years
12-02-2020

On February 12, 2020, the collaboration between Globalvia and the adEla Association officially begins with the agreement signing at the Headquarters of Globalvia, between Javier Pérez Fortea, CEO of Globalvia, and Adriana Guevara, President of the adEla Association.

With this signature, the collaboration between both entities is formalized, as a result of the launch of a new edition of the Globalvia CSR project “Contigo 1=2”.
It is a project in which all the collaborators of the Headquarters of Globalvia have the possibility of presenting Foundations, NGOs and/or social entities that represent the values of Globalvia. This biennial programme aims to get employees to propose projects that are worth fighting for and to make the donation they consider appropriate. Globalvia will contribute the same amount, thus doubling the employee’s donation (1=2).

On this occasion, the employees, through the presentation of their proposals and votes, have chosen the adEla Association as the selected candidate for the next two years (2020/2021).

The main mission of the AdEla Association is to improve the quality of life of people affected by ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) or other motor neuron diseases.

To carry out this mission, the Association offers services at its headquarters and at home in physical therapy, speech therapy, psychology, patient care and specific workshops; they provide information, advice and support to patients and families of people affected by ALS and raise awareness of the effects of this disease by encouraging public support for the search for solutions.

Thanks to the donations that both the employees and Globalvia will make over the next two years, the adEla Association will have more resources to help all the patients and their families who require assistance. Since January, the employees are already making their contributions and will do so until December 2021, either with monthly or occasional donations.
