Recently, our team at the Costa Arauco Highway in Chile formalized a new agreement with the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) to promote investments of up to €80 million in the route, aimed at improving the safety and security of surrounding communities and highway users. This is a key agreement for our operations that will allow us to continue improving the service we offer our users and reflects the value of public-private partnerships. A clear example of this is the recently opened tsunami crossing in the municipality of Coronel. This project, developed in coordination with the MOP, is the country’s first tsunami evacuation route, designed to allow for the swift and safe movement of thousands of residents in this coastal area.
