On February 25, we received the excellent news that our Madrid team at M45 Conservación S.A. has been awarded a “Special Mention” in the VII edition of the Recognitions and Mentions in Occupational Risk Prevention of the Community of Madrid, a recognition granted to good practices in the management of psychosocial risks in work environments.

Last September, the Community of Madrid, through the Regional Institute of Safety and Health at Work (IRRST), convened the VII edition of this recognition in order to contribute to the dissemination of the culture of prevention and recognize the good practices of companies in the region, to reduce the damage derived from the working conditions of workers.

Our team M45 Conservación S.A. was submitted to this call with its own psychosocial risk prevention project, which was launched in 2017. This is a complete plan based on the identification and evolution of possible risks in the workplace, for which a periodic psychosocial study is carried out every 3 years, based on the analysis of quantitative and qualitative information collected.

Thanks to this program, M-45 Conservación has implemented a comprehensive set of actions focused on caring for the mental, emotional and physical well-being of its employees, with the aim of promoting a healthy, inclusive prevention of psychological harassment, prioritizing specialized and confidential support for workers.

In the words of Maria Luisa García Fernández, General Manager at M45 Conservación: “It is a great satisfaction to have this recognition that reaffirms our sincere commitment to the continuous improvement of the safety and health of our workers.”

Within the good practices implemented to prevent psychosocial risks, M45 has developed a comprehensive corporate well-being program that promotes physical and emotional health, and that also focuses on strengthening team cohesion, understood as a fundamental pillar for effective performance and the creation of a positive work environment.

In addition, the launch of the “Alert Channel” stands out, a telephone channel for anonymous complaints open to any member of the organization, to expose any complaint of workplace harassment to which they believe they are being subjected or witnessing.

Specialized training has also been implemented for “Training in the Detection of Post-traumatic Shock for First Responders in traffic accidents”, including a pioneering course in the road maintenance sector, focused on the detection and management of post-traumatic shock for first responders in emergency situations.

Among other initiatives implemented, it is also worth highlighting specific training in stress management related to the use of new technologies, the improvement of internal communication and the promotion of balance between personal and professional life.

Congratulations on this recognition that demonstrates M45’s commitment to the well-being of our people!!
