A new edition of the ASECAP Information and Study Days took place in Milan on 13, 14, and 15 May.

The 51st edition of this international conference has brought together professionals and experts from companies in the field of mobility and transport infrastructure to share knowledge and debate how innovation is a crucial tool for achieving safe, inclusive, and sustainable mobility solutions.

From Globalvia, we have been present thanks to the participation of our experts in various sessions:

  • Paulo Pereira, Globalvia Portugal Operational Systems Director, participated in the “Tomorrow’s challenges with C-ITS/CAV Data Platform” session with a presentation titled “C-ITS to enhance traffic management”.
  • José Enrique Mezquita Gallego, Portuguese Highways Director, participated in the panel discussion about electric vehicles with his presentation “The road to self-consumption.”
  • Raúl Albelda, Technical Manager of Globalvia, during his presentation “The challenge of digitizing toll road asset management,” introduced the attendees to our project for Technical Asset Management, GTA.

GTA, is a platform that concentrates all the technical information of our assets, which has been conceived, designed and promoted by our Globalvia Technical team, and whose development in a SaaS digital environment is being carried out by our Openvia Mobility team.GTA comprises four main modules: exploitation plan, inspections, budgets, and CAPEX plan. Now, with its implementation on our highways, we can concentrate the digitalization of our processes on a single platform, promoting their homogeneity, transparency and accessibility, facilitating the capacity for analysis and optimizing efficiency in our assets.

We thank our colleagues for publicizing some of our latest projects and sharing their experience and knowledge on critical topics in our sector!
