Further consolidating our presence in Chile with Autopista Vespucio Norte and Túnel de San Cristóbal!

As part of our long-term international growth strategy, Globalvia has reached an agreement to buy out Brookfield’s 34% holding in the assets located in Santiago de Chile: Autopista Vespucio Norte and Túnel de San Cristóbal.

With this acquisition we have increased our portfolio by yet another two assets, which in conjunction with the three we already have in Chile, namely Autopista del Itata, Autopista del Aconcagua and Autopista Costa Arauco, we now manage over 430 kilometers of concessions in the Andean country.

Autopista Vespucio Norte

Túnel de San Cristóbal

Autopista Vespucio Norte has 17 free flow gantries along its 29 kilometers, serving eight of the capital’s communes, and is a key artery for daily transport in Santiago. This highway links up with Providencia, Vitacura, Las Condes, Santiago Centro and Ñuñoa through the 1.8-kilometer Túnel de San Cristóbal.

With this new acquisition, we have furthered our leadership in Chile, and we now manage 29 assets in seven countries, thus consolidating our international presence in the transport infrastructures sector.

Changing the world together!
